• You can pack and load moving containers yourself. Be sure to see our Tips and Moving Supplies pages for important information about options related to packing and loading.
• If your new home isn't ready to move in but you have to be out of your old home, you can store your household goods in the storage container until your new home is ready. We work with you to determine the best place to store the container so that it is convenient and economical for you.
• You pay freight to deliver the moving storage container to your old home and freight to deliver the filled portable storage container to your new home. Return freight is to the closest depot, which may or may not be the original depot. Especially in our Midwest area of Minnesota, Western Wisconsin, Iowa and Illinois, this potentially saves a significant amount of shipping cost.
