Moving Containers - We have our Household Goods Authority, which allows us to move household goods from point-to-point within Minnesota as well as around the country. Across town or across the country, Big Blue Boxes will work with you to ensure you rent just the right size moving container.

You can save significantly by using Big Blue Boxes in a number of ways:

• You can pack and load moving containers yourself. Be sure to see our Tips and Moving Supplies pages for important information about options related to packing and loading.
• If your new home isn't ready to move in but you have to be out of your old home, you can store your household goods in the storage pod until your new home is ready. We work with you to determine the best place to store the container so that it is convenient and economical for you.
• You pay freight to deliver the storage pod to your old home and freight to deliver the filled storage pod to your new home. Return freight is to the closest depot, which may or may not be the original depot. Especially in our Midwest area of Minnesota, Western Wisconsin, Iowa and Illinois, this potentially saves a significant amount of shipping cost.

If you prefer, we can provide help loading and more; we have everything from an extra strong back to white glove service.

Remodeling - Whether you are replacing all the carpet in your home or remodeling a room, most companies and contractors require all furnishings be completely removed from the areas under construction. Big Blue Boxes' storage pods are incredibly helpful during this kind of disruption to daily living.

Rather than stuff everything into other rooms or the garage, rendering those areas nearly unusable, we'll deliver the right size storage container to your site and even help load it if you wish. Your possessions are right there, securely locked but accessible if you realize you've stored something essential. As soon as everything is completed and your goods are back in your home we come and pick up the storage pod.
